INTRODUCTION
College of Communication and Design
consists of 4 faculties including Mass Communication, Film and TV, Emerging
Media Design, and Creative Integrated Design. In 2020, the Master Program of
Cultural Creative Communication and Design was established.
This master program aims to offer a leading
academic think tank by bridging the industry, government, and academia in
Southern Taiwan and combining arts and humanities with aesthetics of creativity
to cultivate students into interdisciplinary media practitioners, artists, product
designers, and project managers, all of which strengthens the development of
cultural creative industries based in Southern Taiwan.
In response to the trend of the high
development of digital technology and the diversified media industry, our
program accordingly not only provides the integrated courses focusing on the convergence
of the physical and the virtual worlds through filmmaking, animation, new
media, AR/VR, and NFT, but also enhances the effective strategies in marketing
and public relations.
This
program’s objective is to develop students into professionals with high levels
of competencies through the well-grounded curriculum and hands-on practices in
order to achieve the pedagogical goal of enabling students to become the
valuable workforce as well as expand the cultural creative industry by
integrating the physical and the virtual.
CAREER PROSPECTS
1. Filmmaking Production
Cultural creative job prospects include feature film, documentary film, and animation production, and new media such as producer, director, television director, cinematographer, post-production coordinator, sound designer, sound effect designer, editor, animation designer, curator, game designer, etc.
2. Creative Design
UX/UI design, NFT design, brand marketing, design marketing, package design, fashion design, crafts design, creative lifestyle design, product design, exhibition layout design, film props design, art design, cultural creative agency, startup maker, etc.
3. Cultural Creative Microenterprise
Brand management, public and private cultural organizations, event and exhibition curation, project management, and business and service management, etc.
